With 30,000 feet of indoor meeting space, including a uniquely different "All Glass Atrium Wedding Venue" plus 30,000 feet of outdoor space on the island where we host the most amazing Clam Bakes in the Northeast. Our groups range from intimate functions to large scale events for 500+. Our banquet staff are seasoned professionals that thrive in our unique environment! The Banquet Manager will report to the Director of Banquets. The Banquet Manager assists with hiring and training all banquet staff including scheduling and monthly meetings, illustrating proper techniques and etiquette for all styles of service. This Banquet Manager will also supervise the set up of functions, indoor and outdoor, to include placement of linens, silver, china and glassware according to event specifications. Your creativity will be inspired by our location and 360 degree views of the water. Your attention to detail is part of your visual creation of function rooms and equipment for cleanliness, proper inventory and set-up. The ability to communicate clearly and calmly in a positive demeanor, during the course of the function with the kitchen, service, beverage, convention services, and engineering staffs, as well as the guest host is vital to our success. This will ensure timely execution of events, quality service, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations and corporate standards. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous supervisory/management experience and skills
  • 2 years banquet management experience preferred
  • Previous hotel food and beverage experience preferred
  • Ability to lead and manage a team
  • Requires computer skills
  • Strong business communication skills
