Starting Pay $16.00GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:Visible, front-line guest service resource. Works non-gaming areas of the resort to provide directions, visible deterrent, and access control to hotel and other restricted areas.EXAMPLE OF DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Includes, but is not limited to the following.)Provides family-style service to guests - answering questions and providing directions in non-gaming areas of the resort.Control access to hotel areas by asking guests to show room keys.Control access to other areas such as employee-only areas and parking garages as needed.Observe and report - notify security of suspicious activity, policy violations, and emergencies.Patrol certain non-gaming areas of the building, providing visible assistance to guests and reporting anomalies to Security.Regular, predictable attendance in accordance with department policy.Other job related duties as assigned.FAMILY STYLE SERVICE: Employee is required to meet the following Service Standards:Welcome the guest: Give a warm, genuine, and signature family style welcome to each guest.Engage the guest: Create a positive overall experience by providing genuine family style service to each internal and external guest.Part with the guest: Give a warm, genuine, and signature family style parting comment to each guest.PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with staff and guest. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
