Import Customer Service Representative

COSCO Shipping Lines (North America) is looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills to provide superior customer service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • All phases of customer portal and phone inquiries including tracking, tracing and pickup number releases
  • Assist consignee with manifest discrepancies including rates with overseas
  • Process Customs General Order
  • Monitor IPI rail and depot storage reports
  • Send Courtesy Notices to consignee for undelivered cargo
  • Review INS Audit Reports daily for discrepancies
  • Monitor and update INS Failed fax report for resubmission
  • Liaison between LOD and customers to resolve door issues
  • Prepare IJOS & Third Party Invoicing
  • Monitor Third Party Collections for IPI cargo prior to releases
  • Monitor CN Import cargo via Canadian Ports
  • Monitor and manually update CY Depots import shipments
  • Monitor Overdue Full Containers
    Qualifications:
    • At least 1 3 years of relevant customer service experience in an office environment
    • Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills
    • Commitment to customer satisfaction with the ability to build and develop relationships to identify problems and assess needs
    • High level of competency in PC use and proficiency with MS Office
    • Attention to detail
      Job Type: Full-time

      Salary: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
