Supports chemical manufacturing and chemical analysis on products, raw materials, or in-process materials, and samples in alignment with the company's quality program.

Essential functions:

o Responsible for manufacturing product in accordance with the relevant Varian manufacturing procedures and relevant quality standards.

o Adhere to procedures in relation to production methods, completion of documentation, current Good Manufacturing Practices, and safety requirements.

o Can be trained to and perform basic laboratory processes, tests and other duties required to support department objectives which may include pH measurements, use of balances and scales, pipetting and solution mixing.

o Participate in cross training with other employees, contributing as part of a team in achieving the line core metrics.

o Participation in continuous improvement programs or team projects to enhance our quality, customer service and cost.

o May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager

Quality System Requirements :

In all actions, demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.

Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge:

o Strong teaming skills

o Familiar with typical manufacturing business tools, E-mail, Microsoft Word,

Excel, and PowerPoint

o High School Diploma or equivalent

o 1-2 years of related experience in Manufacturing and Cleanroom
